Editorial policy
Delusion Calculators is an independently maintained project. Our goal is to make a limited statistical model understandable—not to present an entertainment result as a scientific verdict. This page explains how we handle sources, authorship, corrections, assisted drafting, and publication dates.
Sources and factual claims
We prefer original government datasets, official statistical releases, and primary research. Calculator inputs and assumptions are documented on the methodology page. Editorial articles should link to the sources needed to verify material research claims. A source link does not mean the source endorses this calculator.
Authorship and review
Articles are currently published by the Delusion Calculators Editorial Team. We do not claim medical, psychological, or statistical credentials we have not verified. When a qualified external reviewer contributes, the article will identify that person and the scope of their review. Until then, calculator outputs should be treated as illustrative estimates, not professional or relationship advice.
Software- and AI-assisted work
We may use software or AI-assisted tools for drafting, analysis, editing, and code. These tools are not treated as sources. Published factual claims remain subject to human review against the cited material, and model limitations remain visible to the reader.
Corrections and dates
We correct material errors when they are identified. An article's updated date should change only after a substantive revision, not to make unchanged content appear fresh. To report a questionable number, broken source, or factual error, email upretification@gmail.com.
Independence
The project is not affiliated with Fresh & Fit, Keeper, the U.S. Census Bureau, the CDC, or another calculator mentioned for context. Advertising or future commercial relationships do not purchase favorable editorial conclusions.
